Urban planning

Aplin Martin planners shape neighbourhoods to create equitable, efficient, and inviting places for current and future generations. We are problem-solvers who ensure that design solutions are functional and viable, in the best interests of our clients and the community. We offer conceptual urban planning, policy analysis, subdivision layout, public facilitation, application processing, and technical writing services to our clients.

Working closely with clients to understand and define local urban planning concerns, in order to develop creative and customized plans and designs. Our planners have worked within urban, rural, agricultural, and Indigenous communities across Canada, in partnership with our clients, to appreciate what makes their communities unique.

Unlike many private consulting firms that offer either public policy or private development urban planning services, Aplin Martin has a reputation for providing high-quality, responsive services to both private and public sectors, and to clients and municipalities of varying sizes. It’s the reason that developers, landowners, investors, community groups, and public agencies depend on our expertise.
