Tsawwassen First Nation (TFN) Phase 2
As a key consultant for the Tsawwassen First Nation (TFN) development, Aplin Martin has played an integral role in delivering comprehensive civil design work to execute the subdivision of a 7.7-hectare area into 2 multi-family lots (townhomes and apartment sites) and 13 single family lots on TFN lands. The scope of our work encompassed a broad range of responsibilities for both offsite and onsite works. The offsite work includes servicing the 2 multi-family lots and single-family lots by means of designing 3 brand new roads adjacent to the lots and water and sewer systems design along these roads as well as roadside bioswales for the road's storm runoff control and treatment. The onsite work includes servicing 180 townhouse units by means of designing new internal roads and new sewer and water systems along the internal roads as well as sewer and water services for the townhouse units. As phase 2 of the project progresses, our team remains involved in the coordination with onsite and offsite designers, including landscape, streetlight and third parties (BC Hydro, Telus, Rogers, Eastlink) design to ensure no conflicts between underground and above-ground infrastructure.
