Cityscape Phase 10B
The Cityscape Phase, 10B project, consists of 48 single-family lots that are a mixture of back-to-front grading to level lot to bi-level split house walkouts. The Cityscape subdivision utilized a custom road cross-section that allowed for a unique design where the shallow utilities were placed within the road boulevard or within the lane for the houses that back onto one. Shared property lines of the Metis Trail and the subdivision required Aplin to design a sound fence system to buffer the homes from the road noise. Our fence system was also utilized to retain soil so that the lots would not have any overland drainage onto the Metis Trail cross-section.
Aplin Martin provided civil engineering and legal survey services and extensive coordination during the planning phase. Our coordination ensured that all three developers sharing the property lines could equally create unique and feasible designs that work with the existing ground elevations.
