Lindsey Trufyn, P.Eng.

Mr Trufyn has worked in land development and construction since 2005 and joined the land development industry full time in 2009 after graduating from the University of Alberta’s Civil Engineering program. Since that time, Lindsey has held various roles including Laborer, Surveyor, Field Inspector, Project Engineer, Project Manager and Community Development Manager. These various roles have provided Lindsey with a robust background on land development, construction, and Infrastructure planning, from concept design to final acceptance.

During this time, Mr. Trufyn has worked on a wide variety of projects including multi-phase green field neighborhood development, municipal infrastructure renewal, large scale urban redevelopment, and commercial, industrial, multifamily and institutional site development. Lindsey led the infrastructure planning servicing studies for the rezoning of Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre, a project that in 2020 received an Award of Planning Merit from the Alberta Professional Planners Institute.

Lindsey is currently the vice chair of YourDi (formerly known as UDI New Horizons) and an assistant coach with SWAT for his oldest daughter’s hockey team. In the past, he has served on various boards including the Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market Association (2012-2016) as the Community Representative, 104th Street Steering Committee, Downtown Edmonton Community League and others.
